What a suprise this place was. From the outside it looks like an abandoned building. It dod not look like much, but when we got inside they had an awesome tasting room. The bar is a long wooden boat (I wish I would've had my camera). We tried the wheat and the porter (both of which were good) but were really blown away by the ciders. Go there if you are in the area.

BeerSouth.com reports that Indian River Brewing Company is now part of larger holding company called Indian River Beverage Company. It's 3 major components are the existing brewing operation, Kelley's Irish Cider, and the recently formed Florida Beer Company consisting of the newly acquired Ybor Brewery brands and Ybor's former contracted brews, including Hurricane Reef & Key West.

Sorry for the bad report, but I tried both beers they had on tap and neither was drinkable. The Golden Kolsch was bitter and the Amberjack Amber Alt left a nasty aftertaste! They really need to brew some other beers like a IPA and a Brown. I am not a great fan of alts and kolsch beers though. If you are in town, you need to try Charie and Jakes! The only real game in town.

Both beers on tap were good and cider was great too! If your looking for supplies for home brewing, they have it all! Take the taste test, daily after 12 noon!!!

Local microbrewery. Just opened a tasting/tap room. Had two beers avaiable the day of my visit: Shoals Draft Golden Kolsch and Amberjack Amber Alt. Taproom open weekdays (after 11am) and Saturdays. Worth a visit if you're in area.
